 BETTER THROTTLE CONTROL
This electronic throttle-by-wire system works in conjunction with the 54 mm Bosch∞ throttle body to produce smooth delivery, even if the driver's foot is bouncing due to the rough terrain. The iTC system detects unwanted bounces and filters the input. Comes with a progressive and sport mode. |

INDUSTRY-LEADING POWER
Boosting the performance of the proven Rotax 1000R engine with the industry's first factory-installed turbocharger enables the Maverick X ds to produce an impressive 131-HP. The electronically controled wastegate automatically adjusts boost pressure for optimal performance in any condition and even maintains full performance at altitudes up to 5,000-ft. Paired to the turbo is an air-to-air Intercooler with built-in fan to keep cooled air flowing to the engine even in the most demanding conditions. To keep up with the added pressure in the engine, new low pressure forged pistons have been added for long-lasting performance. Finally, the new high capacity injectors ensure a better fuelij delivery, providing an optimal air/fuel mixture to improve performance. |

 LIGHTWEIGHT AND PERFORMANCE SOUND
The slip-on, Yoshimura exhaust is 33% lighter than the stock Maverick muffler, it produces a throaty performance sound and adds to the vehicle’s fit-and-finish. |

ADVANCED FILTRATION
Keeping the engine breathing cool and clean air is a key factor for high-performance, so a large Donaldson airbox has been positionned close to the engine for maximal airflow. This airbox and filter setup is made for high airflow capabilities to meet the turbo's demand in clean air, even in the most extreme conditions. New plenum efficiently manages turbocompressed air to obtain optimal performances. |

 FAST AND EFFICIENT POWER TRANSFER
The CVT system was also reconfigured for the increased power of the turbocharged engine. It features a completely redesigned driven pulley with a new Quick Response System (QRS) and an improved drive pulley. The new design reduces friction, providing an instant response and an optimum belt clamping for better power transfer. |

INNOVATIVE REAR SUSPENSION
The innovative Torsional Trailing A-arms (TTA) rear suspension is a compact version of a five-link suspension featuring no bump steer and low scrub. This all translates to a more controlled wheel movement, optimal bump absoprtion and tire-to-ground contact for predictable handling. Compact design means low unsprung weight for quicker suspension reaction to changing terrain. Its 16 inches of travel will provide a smooth ride at hard-charging paces or in technical terrain.

HIGH-PERFORMANCE SHOCKS
Pure sport side-by-sides demand high-performance shocks. That's why the Maverick is equipped with Exclusive FOX∞2.5 PODIUM∞ RC2 shocks. Front and rear shocks feature adjustments for Dual Speed Compression (DSC), rebound and dual rate spring with infinite preload allowing to fine tune the system for any driving style, terrain or course conditions. The large-diameter bore allows for greater damping force capability, while allowing the shock to run at lower overall temperatures, offer less fade and more consistent damping. The rear shocks feature a position-sensitive Bottom-Out Control and a spring crossover that will allow for less compression damping at ride-height to improve comfort and traction while giving huge damping at the end of the stroke to flatten out the biggest of bumps. The 7/8-inch shaft gives the rear shocks a lot of additional strength & buckling resistance to handle the most demanding conditions. |

PERFORMANCE WHEELS AND TIRES
The performance beadlock wheels use a mechanical fastening system that makes it nearly impossible for the tire bead to break loose from the wheel during heavy acceleration or cornering. Proven 28-in., 6-ply Maxxis Bighorn 2.0 tires feature sturdy lugs and a non-directional tread pattern for a smooth and confident ride over a variety of surfaces.

The 88-in wheelbase supplies a confident ride at higher speeds and in tight cornering. Even with a long wheelbase, the Maverick X ds features a short turning radius that offers a precise and nimble maneuverability.

Competitive side-by-sides feature engine layouts toward the rear of the vehicle, which increases inertia and a tendency to oversteer. The Maverick engine, centered between the two seats, centralizes weight for more agile steering and easier cornering. The result is a nimble Maverick that is manoeuvrable, predictable and quick to react to direction changes. |

BETTER CONTROL
All DPS-equipped models have Visco-Lok† QE, which has all the features and benefits of the standard quick-engagement Visco-Lok† differential, but with an even quicker engagement point. This differential, unlike some competitors' differentials, does not have a speed limiter. |

STANDARD ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM
D.E.S.S. is the industry’s first standard anti-theft device. Electronic code in key must match code in ECU to start. The Maverick 1000R family comes with two different keys. One limits top speed to 44 mph, while the other has no limitations.

HIGH-END GAUGE
Upgraded gauge features state-of-the-art instrumentation with an analog tachometer and speedometer combined with an advanced digital information centre. Plus the three-spoke steering wheel is outfitted with molded grips and a brushed aluminum centrepiece to add to the high-performance style.
